Nice looking piece... I mean the humidor, of course. My wife “got me” mine as a wedding present. In essence she said, “find one and buy it cause I don’t want those coolers in here when we get married.” Season her up and then we’ll help you fill it. And as always, it’s gonna get small in a hurry.

Made a few modifications to the cabinet in preparation for when I actually get to use it. I plan to get a Cigar Oasis Magna 3.0 for the cabinet but will have to wait til after Christmas to order it. Family first. I’m a bit of a neat freak and the thought of visible cords running here and there makes my skin crawl so:

Plan to put the main section of the humidifier on the bottom of the cabinet near the electrical plug ins so no problems there. Going to put the corded display near the top shelf so drilled a whole in the top and bottom of the drawer section to run the remote cord through from the main unit:

There is a small amount of space behind the drawers so the cord will be hidden behind them and will not interfere with them sliding all the way in.

Secondly, I notched the rear corners of the 3 shelves to allow for the cord to run up the corner.

Lastly, I ordered some clear plastic adhesive wire clips to hold the wire firmly in place in the corner and along the side wall to the display. Also some aquarium sealant to seal around the electrical receptical in the back of the cabinet.

Since I don’t have a humidifier, I have several bowls of distilled water sitting in there until I get it. Even with no active humidification, it’s holding solid at 60%rh so I think the Magna should have no problem keeping it at about 68%.

very cool! Lucky man :) I love seeing people with spouses that aren't against cigars. I have some friends who's wives don't like the smell, or don't like them being gone so long, or whatever. Very grateful that my other half joins me outside and has her own stash :)

As long as I go through my wife’s detailed “decon” procedure, she is pretty indifferent towards cigars. I do wish she would join in with me but that will never happen. Thank God for dogs.
