Got into The Rev when I was in h.s. Iirc, got at least his first 3 albums through the Record Club of America.

Heard the “Savoy Brown Boogie” one night (...guessing around 1970...) and immediately fell in love with it. Probably played Side 1 of the vinyl record once (...and that might be a stretch...) while Side 2 got worn out.
