The tobacco leaf conditioning chamber which I have often mentioned.

Thank you for bringing your hydration chamber to life with video. It inspired me to do the same. But I did not have an available grid shelf from a small fridge.

so I got on Amazon and began searching cooling racks. In the end here is how I’ve taken your idea and implemented it. I got the larger 48 can stacker Coleman cooler. I ordered baking cooler trays that are approximately 1 inch smaller than the interior dimensions of the cooler. I found a 1 inch deep serving tray about 1 inch smaller than the cooler to hold water. I’ll get a 2 inch wooden dowel, and cut multiple risers. I figure I can put 3-5 shelves to hold my leaves. I’m very interested in how this will help bring leaves to the proper case over time versus spraying and storing in the plastic bags.

Least my midriff shows.

Which is more than I can say for the flag and cap portion of this vid. Kinda skipped over that.Cut the flag and skipped the rest.

From 5:10 to 5:20 he tells us that the tips goes in the head and the legs go to the foot. "the part you light" have I been doing it wrong? Do you hear something else? Have you been ding it that way?
Is that what she meant? Is that what he meant? Is that what he heard? I know that is not what she does. Is that what a #9 roller gets to know? Now I don't know what to think.
Isn't there someone her who talks about knowing someone who knows how these directives are supposed to go?

Why for the love of god is the capping portion almost always cut out or obscured in these videos?

Here’s a good video of bunching and rolling.

I've seen tons of videos of Cuban rollers but I've never seen the filler bunched quite this way. The three tubes seemed to be around the outside and the bits seemed to be placed into the center of the bunch. Seems like it would draw poorly due to the bits in the center and it would burn poorly because there was no attempt at putting the slower burning leaves to the center.
Strange?

Do any of you guys get your wrapper leaf as wet as seen in this video? I've not seen it done like this before...the way he wads it up and rolls it around first then spreads it out, looks super cased...and stretcher than I've ever made a leaf...

Yeah, a thicker wrapper will have that kind of stretch.

Don't know why he wads it up, but I've touched the stuff. It's super stretchy Brazilian maduro of some variety. I wouldn't say it's super wet to the touch, tho.

I like how you've started putting the cap on the remainder of the wrapper leaf to apply glue. Subtle and effective way to keep the glue off the cutting board.
