I was shocked to say the least. I lit it up and from the first puff it was good. Better than yard 'gar status. It just takes three months to the day for it to get there.

Hay, cedar, cocoa, light pepper, and something that smells like a #2 pencil are upfront early on. Then it turns in to a Mexican cooking sauce my in-laws use to make. It is kind of chocolate, nutmeg, coffee, and pepper with the wood and hay in the foundation.

I would upgrade it from yard 'gar to acceptable to pass off on friends that don't smoke often and enjoying while distracted by a book or small task.

Hard to give Diesel any hate, pretty good smokes starting from way back when. Surely contributed to the success and fame (cigar world wise) of AJ Fernandez.
