I've been in an LCdH and held a box of fakes in my hands. We torched a few and sure enough, they tasted horrible. Mind you, this is the exception to the norm. 99% of the time, LCdH's can be trusted. Somtimes a few bad boxes can make it into a mastercase. Nothing is 100% foolproof.

But back on subject, the bottom line is if you're not comfortable with the purchase, send it back for either a replacement or a refund. You could smoke one and let us know your thoughts but for the most part I'd just send 'em back.

i bet the lcdh your talking about is in mexico or the Caribbean, its more likely for one of them to slip a fake in then montreal.
