And on this edition of BOTL Music Thread Storytellers: Texican - An idealistic young Texican finds himself hopelessly enamored with a quasi-emo girl who leads him down an enlightening yet heartbreaking path of awkward college romance one distant summer years ago. The leadoff track on the CD she bought for him for his birthday goes a little something like this:

Awwwwwww, reminiscing about old romances. Funny how music can fill in a lot of the gaps, like, "I remember how song X made me feel on our 2nd date".

Exactly! And I mean...if there is a more iconic combo than black horn-rimmed glasses and converse...it's possibly only pizza and beer. And on the reminiscing note...my angsty years were made that much more angsty by:

I'm a massive Smiths junkie! In my top 3 favorite bands ever. I don't post any Smiths cuz I know the masses aren't into them. Thanks for sharing that brilliant tune!
