Diamond Crown Maximus Double Corona No.1

Unsure of age, but the cellophane was fairly yellowed

At 8x50 its an imposing cigar

Very tasty and good draw, burn and construction

Yet another solid smoke from Diamond Crown

AF Hemingway Work of Art Maduro

My first of this vitola, but far from my first Hemingway

Excellent taste and perfect draw, burn and construction

For some reason I always have an uneven burn with figarados, but not with this one.

Very tasty smoke and a good size and smoke time.

@Palama

How are these?

I have a Havana VI Nobles Robusto in my experimental dry box as we speak, to be smoked sometime this week.

Looking forward to it as I have been very impressed with every Tatuaje I have had so far after having recently discovered them

Not bad but I’m more of a Brown Label Reserva and Black Label guy so the Havana VI series is on the outskirts of my wheelhouse. With that being said, construction was excellent and it did burn well.

Herrera Esteli Norteño "Short Corona Gorda"

Edit:
This is actually closer to a short robusto at 48*4.75. This one is straight off the truck and unusually wet for a Neptune shipment, bit still yummy.

I am a huge fan of these cigars and this one reminds me why. From the beginning you are nailed with one of the best San Andres wrappers on the market. I love AJ but this makes his use of San Andres seem almost pedestrian. Combined with a beautiful tasting Honduran binder this is what I wanted from the Aladino Maduro. The combination gives a nice creamy spice from the beginning and intertwines a nice sweetness.

I like all of the Herrera Esteli line, but these are hands down my favorite.
