Montecristo Especiales No.2

Have smoked quite a few, and they were great, and problem free, but this one ended that streak.

Fairly tight draw, but livable

Construction wise, seemed fine

Burn, way off the first two thirds, inspite of many correction attempts. Also kept getting just shy of going out at the same time.

Finally in the last third the burn corrected, draw opened up, and quit trying to go out.

All together, a very disappointing experience

Excellent taste

Burn was off a bit in the first third, but a couple corrections fixed that

Draw was perfect

Construction was good. Only issue was the wrapper cracked in a couple spots in the middle. Has been in my 65% tupperdor for several months, so it certainly wasn't too dry or over humidified. Not a bug deal at all though.

Overall, a great Cigar. Will definitely pick up more in the future

How long do you age them before you break into them on average?

I'm not an aged cc guy, i like them young just fine, but I'm always curious about how others handle their smokes

No real time frame. I'll keep them boxed up in the humi until I've finished the tubos.
