Just had to share my “Shark story.” I have been calling around town, looking for some Fuente Añejo cigars, to absolutely no avail. This morning, I called a place and they said they had none, but they DID have two Fuente Don Carlos Eye of the Shark. I paused a second or two, then asked him to repeat himself. Sure enough, I heard correctly. As quickly as I could, I got over there across town. He said they only sell two per customer, and these were the last two. I’ve been looking for this cigar for probably over a year now, and could not believe my luck. Hope you’re all having as great a day as I am.82BFAD93-D8A5-4547-A6BC-47304D93F0AB.jpegD43E1B1C-BAB3-46F6-A826-265EFBB28948.jpeg7C6059AA-2894-4C6C-90AC-FCEFB3F157A5.jpeg

Hope you found them close to the 13$ MSRP, they are good but not 25$ good
Don Carlos belicosos are a great “cheap alternative” for the EOtS

more than $13, but less than $25. Roughly $17 apiece.

Congrats, I'm glad you found a couple. It always feel great to finally find something you have been searching for.
Absolutely. I seriously celebrated for most of the day, with a Padron 1964 and lots of bourbon. I was thrilled to find them, and hoping the place finds some more, haha!

what's next on the bucket list ?:hungry::hungry::hungry:
Well, more of these honestly. I like to collect and keep sticks for a couple years or more, so I would love to have six or seven EoTS, and keep them for a long time. As for next non-EoTS, I would really like to find some damn Fuente Añejo cigars, haha. Not as premium or rare, but they’re good. Just bought some more Montecristo 1935, Demis to go with my #2’s, and some more Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua, Impromptu.

I just converted a wine fridge and wanted to get it filled. Getting pretty close, maybe I should take a break? ......naaaah

I thought highsierrasmokin was the original post for this thread for some unknown reason. He lives near the Nevada State Line, thus the Nevada or Cal question...carry on folks, just an old man here trying to explain a strange comment :cigar:
Dave you need to sit down at the table, eat your grapefruit and take your meds!

All good, man. I was a little bourbon-soaked when I replied to CigarGavin, and quoted/responded to his message twice, in the same post, with basically the same answer of $17. I wonder what other websites I posted onto...

What size Anejos do you prefer? For some reason they didn’t seem to release Anejos this past year like normal.

I bought a box of 46's from COH in 2020. They were $190. Now they are $260, if even available. The Fed needs to print more money so that they become $330. yeah, sarcasm

Great cigar. They normally run a charity deal once a year that has a opus eye of the shark and a similar rolled Julius Caesar. Great cigar too, if you see it pick it up! Comes in a little coffin.
