I smoked an Astral Grand Reserve Vintage 96 Robusto this am...ended up winning a low ass bid on a box. It was ok...very good for the price. :grin:


This afternoon I had a Cuban Classic Robusto by Don Pepin. Very good! Started off with some killer peppery spice and when that subsided there was this awesome subtle sweetness trying to come through.

I just got it from Chuck on Friday so I think once they have some time to stabilize that sweetness will balance nicely with the spice. Great cigar.

Geez, this cigar is PACKED with tobacco...I still have almost two inches left.

It felt very heavy in the hand...lots of tobacco in here.
