I had some delicious Wisconsin-made beers tonight down at the local bar. New Glarus Spotted Cow, for the locals who know it, remains my favorite beer ever. And I picked up some Intrigue liqueur at the Tinder Box down in Rockford, IL today, which I tried. Man, that stuff is delicious. Highly recommended.

any New Glarus beer is awsome!!!!! you me and Donk are gonna have to meet up one of these days for some beer and smokes!! eace:

Cuba Libre

Served in a highball glass

2 oz light rum
Juice from 1/2 lime (or, what I use, the juice of one Key lime)
3 oz Coca Cola
Ice

Squeeze lime juice into glass
Pour in rum, then add an equal amount of Coke (can be diet!)
Leave enough room for some ice

Enjoy!!

Believe me, try it, there is more lime in this drink than a rum & coke,.....it's a different drink...try it.

Cuba Libres are not good IMO...ack.

Too much lime juice and the light rum is no good with Coke IMO.

actually, it doesnt sound that bad. im not a big rum drinker though. might have to get a bottle though.

Todd, you have to get the mix right.

It can be too sour... or too sweet...seriously this is a good drink, but you have to get the mix right.

Oh, and you MUST use fresh limes, not that crap you buy in a bottle.....use fresh limes.

I have never liked a mojitos that I didn't make...Greg might have a point.

You have to make these things yourself to get them right.
