And as for the F-ed up centipede, you guys should have "over the top" style arm wrestling matches but use centipedes instead of scorpions.

we have tons of em around here. we refer to them as "ear-wigs"

They are centipedes....very common to see in the house in spring.
Todd, get some insecticide from Lowes/Home Depot...the kind you mix with water in a sprayer....then spray around your foundation outside the house once a week. That should do it....always worked for me in Idaho and now here.
