A dry box is a controlled environment regards to the RH level. I hear some guys use a small humidor and place soon to be smoked sticks in their. They might use 60% RH beads so the levels are in the upper 50's.

On top of the humi leaves a LOT of variables, mostly the RH levels being whatever the ambient is at that given time. I have taken out sticks during the winter when the RH is very low and left a stick on the desk cause it felt too wet as was a recent arrival. For a practical plan, I would not leave sticks anywhere for very long unless I can control the RH.

65RH is what I prefer as do many members here. I would keep the sticks under 72 degrees, lower the better to avoid any cigar beetle issues.

Oh shit, you say smoke soon, that should be fine

I had another issue, one was a Cohiba sublime last saturday, the other a Cohiba
siglo 4. though the sublime had decent draw, it had just really crappy flavor, nothing like the first one i had out of the same box. the siglo was shit though, I mean bad bad draw, couldn't get good smoke going. so this week I wasted 50bucks on shitty smokes, yay,
I think I am done with CC, sure I'll try every so often, but out of the 10 or so I smoked, only 3 of them were worth money, not what they cost, but worth some money, the other 7 were aweful.

I don't know what to do about that, I understand they are a handmade product, but I get the feeling 70% are rolled with their feet. qc is a joke imho.

i just wish i could base my opinion on taste, not on the draw, but so far I didn't make it that far.
