Rode to a dive bar yesterday. On the bar they had Jim Beam white label, Jack Daniel's Old No. 7, and Old Rip Van Winkle 10 Year.....what?? $30 bucks for a very heavy pour (I was waiting for the jigger to come out). Figured why not?

At home I opened a bottle of Knob Creek 9 Year 120 proof that I was gifted on my bday a couple months ago. Although I've had this and other regular Knob Creek varieties at bars, I think this is the first non-store pick KC I've ever owned.

I gotta see their food menu. It must be like:

1) Bag of peanuts

2) Pepperoni Hot Pocket

3) Dry Aged 32oz Kobe Tomahawk steak with Foie Gras, shaved truffles, and a beluga caviar/ appetizer.

Cracked a Front Porch Batch last night, 2017-03.
The first Front Porch I opened had the craziest neck (first) pour I've ever had from a Booker's batch. It was crazy sweet, but didn't stay that way after being open.
