I love this thing! Had it for just under a year. I put pretty much all of my college books/cigars/gas/food/etc. on this one, and for every buck I spend I get a penny at Cabela's. Well I had like $57 to spend and I just got a Pflueger ultralite spinning rod/reel combo (I LOVE ultralights for trout) and some bait for free! Credit card rewards are like the coolest thing ever! Can't wait for it go get in!
Anybody else get cool shit from Cabela's or anywhere else?

IMO, you need to shop around for a better match with the points. I know most give you 1 point for every dollar spent. Atleast mine does. But ya gotta love free stuff!

I know there's better, but last year when we went to cabela's if you signed up for a card you got like $40 free and every dollar you spent you got another $1 that weekend. So that's why I started using it, and I guess I just never really wanted to get another card.

Being in retail furniture management, Sealy gives me a credit card that gets cash to it for every piece of Sealy bedding sold. Used about $600 to buy cigars a few months ago; it;s like free money to me as I don't carry the card around and only check the balance maybe twice a year.

Yep, we have it. We use it as our gas/beer/convenient store card. We put about $400 on it and pay it off each month.

I enjoy free Cabelas stuff.

My bank has a points system for our check cards. I pay almost all my bills on that card, which actually comes out of my checking account, and got a $100.00 Home Depot gift card.

They have no problem taking money from you, so you might as well get every penny you can out of them

Actually they make NO money on us...we pay it off every month before any interest is charged...and since it is linked to COSTCO there is no annual fee.

I guess they make there cash on the fees they charge businesses when we use it.
