It has been in development since I was in the music business seventeen years ago. Originally it was pitched to record labels as a way to save money. A couple of decent engineers could turn out platinum albums every couple of weeks was the tag. Now it is vastly improved, and if they gamify it, they can get people to pay them to refine the AI algorithm. You will pay to replace artists and then pay for the privilege of listening to the computer algorithms.
