"Discovered" her in 1980 when my co-worker put her demo record on 'cause he thought the cover was interesting. Fo' sure her music, at that time, was geared more towards disco but her covers of "Love is the Drug" and "Breakdown" definitely gave those songs a different spin.

A couple of Frank “Chairman of the Board“ Sinatra comp discs. One is the highlights from the 3-CD “The Capitol Years“ box set. The other has my favorites from Frank’s Reprise Records years.
I wasn’t much of a fan while he was alive but a couple of my friends were. Their constant talking about and playing his music led me to listen and kinda, sorta finally “get it”. Unfortunately by then I missed his concert at the Aloha Stadium in ‘86 and two shows at the Blaisdell Arena in ‘89.
