So I stopped by the closest AD to try this on as I had been wanting it for quite some time... somehow when I left the store, I ended up on the waiting list to pick one up when they get one in...




It is a black dial, but the sunburst effect makes for some cool color variation/changes in direct light.

Well... I had the AD put me on the waiting list when I was there I late February and got the call last week. I picked ip up on Friday, and have a Jubilee bracelet on order to swap out with the oyster as well.

So I bought a new Rolex Sky Dweller two tone today. Wasn’t the original plan by far as I was looking pre owned and about half the price. After watch shopping all day and nothing really catching my attention we decided to call some ADs within 2 hours, which we thought would be a long shot as my uncles on a 3 year waitlist for a new daytona . So we call about 3 dealers in a few hour radius and after the typical excuse that they don’t have anything in stock and there’s a waiting list we found one dealer with this beauty in stock.

The watch itch is bugging again, my side business has done extremely well this month and set a new record since covid. Been eyeing an Omega Speedmaster to go along with the Rolex and Tag. Anyone wearing one?

No, not yet... I have a Seamaster, and a Speedy is definitely on my list for the future!
