What do you do and what else do you do?

I am a Resource Planning Manager for a major Marketing/Contact Center company. Basically, I size business requirements, tell people how many people they need to do a job, how much facility space, # of seats and when the people should work. I am also involved in cost strategies whether the company is looking to do business domestically or offshore or a combination of both.

In my free time, I like to hang out with my wife and 2 boys. My oldest son (13 yrs. old) is a guitarist in the Paul Green School of Rock Music which absorbs a lot of my time running him to practices and rehearsals etc. and doing volunteer work for the school. I enjoy collecting most things related to tobacco and the WWII/Art Deco era and of course,- flyfishing.

Hobbies besides cigars are fishing, and a passion for music (electronic).
But I seriously have too little spare time in my disposal.

I'm a husband and a father of a 7-year-old son. I work as a Unix Administrator for an insurance company. I like photography and playing guitar. I'm 33 years old and still trying to finish my bachelor's degree.

I am much more responsible about school than 15 years ago when I dropped out. I have straight A's since I started taking classes again. However, I still think it's bullshit, and I'm really getting sick of it. I hope to graduate in Fall 2008. Maybe then, I'll have some free time for guitar and photography.

Well, here I go. I'm going on 20 and going to school to become an attorney. Yes, I know a lot of people don't like attorneys, but don't get the wrong idea. I don't want to sue the pants off people, nor do I want to screw over the less fortunate and little old ladies. I just really want to help fight and protect those who can't fight for themselves( i.e. children entangled in miserable divorces). Unfortunatly, I know first hand what that can do to a child.

Ok, my turn...

I'm 30, married for all of 3 weeks now and have a daughter who turns 9 next week. I'm a Systems Administrator (Mostly Linux flavors) for one of the top 5 government/defense contractors in the nation (so yes, I live just outside of DC). When I'm not working I play bass in a mostly original rock band, but we sell out and play covers too, am First Officer in a motorcycle riding club (but I need to get the heck outta that job!) and love playing softball. Golf is fun too, but God I suck at it. I'm also an avid, rabid Redskins fan.

I'm fairly new to cigars, and right now I'm working hard to increase my collection and refine my palette so I can write some reviews like the wonderful ones I've read on here!

I'm 46 yrs young, but you're as young as you feel, so that makes me ancient.
I'm married for 27 yrs. with three kids. I work as an Industrial Maintainence Mechanic for what was Canada's largest steel co. until we got swallowed up by bigger fish, but that is a whole nuther story... I've been smoking cigs since I was 9 and took up cigars about 10 yrs ago. I collect Canadian postage stamps, and smoke cigars as my two main hobbies. I enjoy Nascar and good REAL bbq out of my smoker...

Well I turned 40 this month. On my second marriage; not going for three. I like this one so I'll keep her; that and the fact that the other one already takes half my pay. Four kids, 17, 15, 13, 11. Two here, two there.

I've been a police officer for 18 years. Used to be into cars, I've had three Camaros in the past, plan to build another one some day...when I'm no longer paying support. Spend most of my spare time in hockey arenas watching my youngest. Like to do a little bit of wood working, golf and cycling.

Got into cigars when the wife bought me a humi and Cigar book for Idiots for Christmas. I read the book so I'm an expert now. Trying to build up a supply but the account/wife doesn't doesn't release funds too often.:dunno:

Like chatting about cigars and anything else...keeps my mind off my occupation.

I have a few dozen posts under my belt, but here goes:

I am an electrical technician for an oil drilling an exploration company (boo hiss) and I play guitar (mostly blues in my personal time, but onstage I have mostly played pop, rock, punk, funk, some country and I have faked my way through some jazz sets).

I am a fan of old classic heavyweight boxing and what else? I used to powerlift and as soon as my back is healed from an injury sustained at work, I intend to start that again: maybe competitively.

I also want to start an internet based social/political talk show that discusses issues inline with my paleo-conservative/libertarian political viewpoints.
