vacation time and no where to go

okay, so we get to go away for 7-10 days in july. from san diego. we've been invited to belize. would be cheaper (no hotel). she wants to go to hawaii ($$), but is willing to compromise. so, maybe the carribean?

now she's pressuring me to make a decision...

any suggestions, please??

so i was thinking, of this place for the first 2 days, then to the island for the remainder....

finalized plans last night! direct flight to maui. 7 nights at the Koa Lagoon (7/12-7/19). direct flight home. looking at activities now, as i'm told to book in advance. anyone with good (or bad) experiences on the island?
