I have seen how powerful the thoughts and prayers are from the brothers here, so I have my own now:

We took my father to the hospital Saturday. He had going downhill rapidly the past month and his Doctors had us believing it was lung disease and other things.....so we all just thought that was it and were hoping he was going to get better.
I got to the point Saturday where it wasn't making sense...the rapid degeneration in him.
So, at the emergency room in less than a half hour, they determined he had half the red blood cell count you should have. The doctor said that is why he couldn't breathe or get around. They had to give him 4 units of blood. They have also drained 20 pounds of fluid off him! As of this am, he was stronger and breathing much better, but we are now in the testing stages to determine how he lost the blood and where did it go???

I will take and appreciate all the thoughts and prayers you want to give for my father that we figure this out and get it fixed.

Dang Mike, that is nuts.

Update.....took Dad home from the hospital yesterday so it looks like he will make my son's graduation tomorrow!!!!!!

Still weak and somewhat depressed but hopefully when he sees some progress he will come around!
