snakes are probably the least of our worries here in WI. unless you live in the southern part of the state (expescially the southwest) ive been to the rattler roundup in Praire Du Chien and its awesome!!! never knew they were so tasty!! but all we have around here are timber rattlers. ( not as bad as some other rattlers, but will kill you all the same) ive personally only heard a rattlesnake one time and that was turkey huntning in that corner of the state. but i can tell you, that i made a very slow, very precise getaway.
