No pushing brooms and mops during the summer like last year; good for you David.
It will be the first time in 10 years that I haven't helped the custodial crew in the summer. For some reason, I don't think I'll miss moving every piece of furniture out of every room in that building. :grin:

Although...I will miss the $13 per hour doing it.

yea instead of cleaning the school you will be changing diapers and dealing with an extremely hormonal wife..

5th grade...all subjects. This coming year will be my 15th of instructing these hormonal little creatures.
My son just finished 5th -- and in the past week has become even more hormonal, is going through a growth spurt and falls asleep anytime. When my wife was substituting she taught 6th grade one day and decided she better stick with 5th and below. :(

Next year will be my 8th year of teaching k-5 Art , although I am certified for k-12. I did my student teaching at the local HS and thought to myself omg how will I be able to handle this for the next 20 years lol. Then I was placed over at the elem school for the other part of my Student teaching and loved the little ones. Whole different game when they can't wait for school and are running into the room rather then trying to run out :eek:)

well...as of friday I'm done with my grad class, and my vaca can afficially begin!

nothing to do until early sept.

~gonna spend a week in the catskills and earn a few grad credits (can't beat 3 grad credits for spending a week camping in the catskills

~gonna hopefully spend a few weeks out in colorado

~besides that, it's relaxing and smoking a few hand-mades on my brand new patio furniture!
