Silly me, I'm so used to 8-5 I thought this thread was going to be about cemeteries! When I was in school I had a part-time 3-11 job but since then it's always been days.

What a coincidence, I'm a 9:30-6:30 guy, but my father-in-law has been trying to convince me to work with him on the weekends.....and it's the graveyard shift! 8pm-8am, it just sounds rough, let alone actually doing it!

The closest I have gotten to graveyard is bartending until 3 or 4 am.. that was bad enough considering I had class the next day at 11

Hell yeah, class is rough alone! I'm going to Villanova part-time at nights and on weekends and it's hard and time consuming! But it better be worth it.

I haven't had a mid shift in almost three years but starting September I'd better get use to them again. Back to the normal rotation. They're not so bad if you get them on a semi regular basis though.

texas, is there anyplace else?
I work 7 nights every month. I also work 7 days every month 5am to 5 pm or 5pm to 5 am. It sucks but I get 7 days off in a row 13 times a year without using any vacation. ( I also get 200 hours of vacation and 100 hours of floater)

I do hate the graveyard shift. Oh sorry DID hate it. I haven't worked on in years but they all sucked. I did emergency room X-Rays 3rd shift, so no time for going out for cigars.
