Anyone have a good set to reccomend? All I need is a 2-3 hand sets and a digital answering machine.

Back when I had a landline, I had this one (or one very similar to it from Costco) and was also pretty pleased with its performance.

I bought an AT&T set from Costco that was on sale a few months back. I think it was 2 handsets and a base with answering machine for $50. It's nothing fancy but gets the job done. I've also heard good things about the Unidens.

My house is a true dead zone for cellular service so I had to stick with a land line. My employer pays for my cell and hates it that they cannot call me at home. . .:nodlaugh:

I have a Uniden 3 handset set.

But its kind of a waste. Everyone in my house uses there cells.

Same here...Just make sure whatever you get has 5.8 or higher. Won't mess with your wireless.
