Yes, my Stagg-obsessed friends, the time draws near! Bottling for the 2007 Stagg has begun. This is a quote from StraightBourbon.com:

For those of you who missed it, bottling of the 2007 George T. Stagg is underway at Buffalo Trace.

This year's bottling, the eighth in the series, is the highest proof of them all, at a whopping 144.8 proof! HazMat IV aged for 15 years, 6 months, in Warehouse I.

Highest proof yet. You thought the 2006 was powerful? Well, here's an extra couple of percent points for you!

We are probably still at least 2 months from seeing any of these anywhere, but it's getting closer!

Yes. Try Binny's. All depends on if places will ship to you. Up until recently there was still some of the 2006 available online, you just have to do some majore internet-scouring.

I just spoke with them and he said they will have it in early October. Around $80 per bottle. He said to sign up on the newsletter and they will email us when it's in.:thumbsup:

I did not know that!! They will ship wine all over the country, but liquor is CA only. If you are having trouble finding what you need and Hi-times has it, PM and we'll work it out. I'm 5 minutes from the B&M location. They also have a bad ass humidor and beer fridge if you are looking for something unique.

It's altogether possible that they have upped the price, but $80 is ridiculous right when it comes out. Standard pricing on this shouldn't be much over $55 and that's without getting a deal. The 2006 could be found at around $45 when it first came out last year.

Len, patience my friend, patience. LOL. The 2007 is not actually out yet and won't be for a couple of months at least. The 2006 is all but gone.

80 bucks is ridiculous. Do you get lubed up for that price or is it just straight grit?
