The worlds greatest tenor dies on Thursday in his hometown in Italy at age 71. RIP Luciano, you'll now bring that heavenly voice home.

I had the priviledge of hearing him sing live, though not in his prime, and he was a truly gifted performer. There is something that sets great musicians like him apart from other musicians, an intangible quality that is a gift from God.

We have lost a true and genuine talent with this one boys. I saw him in Italy when Is was 13 and, even at that age was completely impressed. Have a couple of CDs that I use to calm down with after a hard day or a "discussion " with the little lady. RIP Sir
