To honor those that were lost six years ago. While we should always remember and honor them, we should especially take some time today to reflect on those past events. :usaflag:

This day should become a Memorial Holiday, so that no one will ever forget what happened. :usaflag:

I just saw the ABC news story about the new Bin Laden video, what a joke! Talk about propaganda, the media releases it on 9-11 to re-ignite the war effort. I guess Bin Laden is dropping new tapes along with 50 Cent and Kayne West...Anyway, I don't mean to go :eek:fftopic: but we need to get this guy and get him soon!!!!

Amen!

I cannot see the photos and the film clips without feeling the horror of that morning all over again.

Prayers for all of those who perished on that tragic day, and those who have given their lives in Afghanistan since. :usaflag:

May God bless those families whose lives will never be the same. May God hold in His arms, all who fight this war. For if we do not soon come together as people, created in the image of God, we will all perish.

You know, I was sitting on the crapper this morning and was thinking what I had to do at work today.

I remembered that it was 9-11-07, 6 years later. Then I remembered that it was also a Tuesday, 6 years later.

Still have not forgotten all the heartache of what happened that day. A lump rises in my throat when I see pictures of the WTC.

God bless!

Amen...

Kind of hard to forget about what happened, in fact, I remember when and where I was at the time it occurs. I probably will never forget it and I personally think that is a good thing. It showed me of the sheer evil we have in this would.

I think they say that the taliban/bin laden has released tapes every yr at this time..not that I am downplaying what you are saying...I had just gotten off work(midnites) and was in my accounting class that am when the teacher asked if anyone had heard what happened...then she let us all go home...still hard to get some of those shots out of my head that I watched on the news that day...god bless all of them and thier families...len

Thinking back to that day, I am not saddened, but I get very angry. I remember the horror that I felt when I saw people choosing to either burn to death or leap. I remember the photo of the falling man. I remember hearing the radical islamic animals cheering at our tragedy. I could care less if every RADICAL muslim were wiped off the face of this planet. Anybody that can inflict this type of terror, sadness, mayhem, and death on other human beings is not worthy of breathing the same air that we breathe.

This one hit close to home. Everyone in my house with the exception of me is new york city fire department (well one EMS) and while they were thankfully home that day, we lost a lot of friends. Friends who lost both children and parents. It was a horrible day, yet we go on, and remember them everyday not just on 9/11.
