You hit the nail on the head with that comment. I told my wife the other night that I hope my daughters don't grow up and treat me like that. I'm sure her childhood wasn't perfect, but seriously, whose was?
She whines and cries and tells him to shut up all the time. She is so disrespectful of her father. I think America has been rooting for them in hopes that they reconcile their relationship. Hopefully she will get out of the house, watch the tapes, and realize that her attitude and contempt towards her dad are 90% of the problem. She may not realize what she has done until she has children of her own, but by that time, it may be to late. It's amazing how having your own children make you more proud and respectful of your parents. Parenting isn't as easy as many may think and now that I am a parent, I understand why they made the decisions they made, why they grounded me all those times, etc... I see it in my kids eyes that they think I am mean, but you know what, one day they will understand.
Hopefully when that day comes for Danielle, Dick will still be around. Danielle was very excited, Thursday night, but if you have watched the live feeds since then, you see Danielle is being a total brat to Dick. He can't talk or do anything without her getting mad at him and the sad part is, until she realizes that SHE is the problem, they are always going to have a rocky relationship.
