They would need 290 votes to ovverride it and with only 245 votes this time, I don't think there will be enough "flips" to make the override.Let's all hope they don't try to override the veto!

Not necessarily. If the house and senate get enough votes, they can still push this through, despite Bush's veto. The senate has the votes and it's no secret, if the house can gather enough support, it still has a chance of making it. It did fail to pass in the house once already, but who knows what will happen.I just saw the news and Bush vetoed it! Looks like we're in the clear.....
