Bush's Veto will hold is my guess. I've no problem with the idea of the bill, but the funding for it is rediculous.

Socializing medicine is a bad idea!!!!!! I know Im not going to work 5 times as hard for a third of the money especially since I owe 200,000 dollars in school loans to the government and I went to school for an aditional 8-12 years of my life! Just not going to happen. Its impossible to be a democrat if you are going into health care!

They would need 290 votes to ovverride it and with only 245 votes this time, I don't think there will be enough "flips" to make the override.

Not necessarily. If the house and senate get enough votes, they can still push this through, despite Bush's veto. The senate has the votes and it's no secret, if the house can gather enough support, it still has a chance of making it. It did fail to pass in the house once already, but who knows what will happen.

Arnold can afford whatever tax increase they throw at us....plus, he smokes cigars that aren't really going to be affected by the SCHIP taxes. LOL
