RIP to a fine BOTL

Just saw this news on CW and knew Scott (sb1396) was a member here as well. He wasn't super active on this board, but he did have a great reputation in the cigar community at large. I remember doing a deal or two with him in 2006. Way too young to be passing on. :frown: May he RIP.

Bouchard, Scott William age 39, of Germantown, TN, formerly of Hinsdale. General Manager of the AT&T Corporation passed away May 10, 2007. He is an alumnus of the University of Colorado, past president of the Aintree Farms Homeowners Association and member of the Memphis Chamber of Commerce. He graduated from Hinsdale Central High School, Hinsdale, IL where he won the State Championship on the tennis team. Beloved husband of Lynn, loving father of Tawnee Cain and Helena Bouchard, dear son of Helen and the late Robert C. Bouchard Sr., fond brother of Cheryl (Robert) McEwen of North Platte, NE, Kathryn (Craig) Chval of Columbia, MO, Craig (Melissa) Bouchard of Naples, FL, Richard (Julie) Bouchard of Lakeville, MN, James (Carolyn) Bouchard of Pittsburgh, PA and the late Robert C. Bouchard Jr., fond uncle of 18 nieces and nephews. Visitation Monday, May 14th, 6 to 9 p.m., at Gibbons Elliston Funeral Home, First and Grant St., Hinsdale, IL 60521. Friends will meet Tuesday, at St. John of the Cross Church, 5005 S. Wolf Rd., Western Springs, IL 60558, for 10 a.m. funeral mass, please meet at the church. Man I'm at a loss for words here, this shouldn't happen and Scott was way too young! He was an awesome BOTL to chat with and trade cigars with. He will be missed greatly! May he Rest In Peace...

Wow. He passed a little less than a month after I did a trade with him. This is very, very sad news.

Wow, this is terrible news. I hate to see anyone go, but it's so much more tragic the younger a person is.
