Anybody ever had it? My local liquor store by campus has it in a gift box with a little thermos-like flask and a silver shot glass for $69 or something. Just wondering if it's rare or worth buying or anything.
Thanks!

Depends on your tastes, Tyler. I do not care much for Macallan as it tastes a bit sweet to me. I much prefer the Islay scotches. Cask strength is not cut with water. All single malts are cut with water to reach their established proofing; usually 80% or 86%. Cask strength will be ~115 to 120 proof and have quite a bite. I prefer cask strength single malts when available, just not Macallan. It is not a rare item.

It is not rare, but good. I have bought 2 of these gift sets. The proof is high so you don't need as much, but also that flask is killer. It hold 10.5 OZ and the shotglasses are held on top of the flask with a snap on leather hood. I think you get 2 glasses with it. So it's perfect for hanging out with a buddy. Th only thing I don't like about the flask is that it's round and does not fit in my back pocket as easily. I would buy this again it I saw it again. I think Hitimes has it for $50 though.

Very good "bargain" Macallan, but you can find it a lot cheaper if you look.
