When we go to Thanksgiving at my Mother's side of the family we always got dragged out shopping.

Since starting my own family we have tried to host turkey day on our own just about every year.

This year we are going to our sister-in-law's in KC...no black Friday shopping...just tons of Rock Band and Guitar Hero. :yes: :guitar:

I usually go along on the shopping trip to just watch the action and carry packages. Saw one heck of a good duke out between two women at Target last year.

We shop sales all year for X-mas presents. I was done x-mas shopping in JUNE!!! I'll be spending my Friday surfing a 4 foot swell in 55 degree water. F it's gonna be cold.

I am going out to purchase one item, an electronic sampler. It's a $999.00 unit anywhere you purchase it, online or in a store. I've never seen it for less than $934...that is the absolute lowest price I've ever found online.

But I have a "Black Friday" coupon for a 2-hour sale at Guitar Center starting at 8:00am....for 20% OFF!

You can bet your sweet ass I'll be there. $200 savings on something I was already planning to buy (and already have the money saved up for) is friggin' HUGE.

O man I'm eating some crow here, I was told by the lil lady, " We need to go to the furniture stores on fri they r having some sales on Couch and chairs to go with the TV" Now I hope that not everyone and the Brother will be there looking also....But I like how this Lady Thinks.....

I never have and probably never will go out. Wife and her Mother was a tradition to go out and still is now with my Mother. They leave pretty early in the morning and wife does not get home till late afternoon. A perfect Friday for me chilling around the house eating left Thanksgiving dinner.
