LOL, no actually it's textured just like an ash! I set the blade on the table saw at just about a 1/16th of an inch and just rolled the dowel around on the blade till I had the look I wanted. Then painted it gray and then black highlights. I'll see if I can get a good pic of the texture.didyoudo the ash with an airbrush???

reason I am asking, I just started airbrushing 2 weeks ago and went crazy at coast airbrush here in anaheim. i love it, practicing lots. it would have been funny if you were also into it. you'd be like the brother i never had:grin:
