I just bought an igloo 50qt cooler. I realized the seal is not tight on the sides when doing a light test (after I had bought it). Do any of you know what can be used to help with the seal?

or some weather stripping from home depot. I would take the coller in and test a few different sizes to see what fits best.

Or you could use some used tissue paper after a bad cold:stickbeat

Masking tape, the blue stuff for painting, around the edge of the lid may help. It should help fill in the gap between the lid and the inside edge of the cooler.

I would take it back and then try the others and check the seals. If you can get one that seals then you will have no headaches.
