WHo knows the difference in Blue Lable & King George Blue Lable? The price is a whole hell of a lot more. Is it better of just a nice crystal glass bottle?

All I know is that there are far superior scotches than Johnnie Blue for less money. Macallan 18 comes to mind $139.

Yea I know there are very good ones out there for less but I do like JB and like to get a bottle every so often. I was just wondering if there was any diffrence. I usu do not pay more than 80 for a bottle but I do splurge every so often.

You are not comparing apples to apples....JW is a blend, while The Macallan is a single malt.......The Macallan 12 is my favorite go to scotch, but for a blend, I have not had one better than JW Blue......either way, I get :bottle:

I agree on the comparrison, not being even. And if the blend is your thing, I guess Blue is supposed to be the best. Single malt is the ticket for me, so i just aim at my fav...MAC
