So I ordere some boxes from the USPS after new years and they just arrived. My wife opened the front door and there was a huge pile of cardboard sitting on the side ofthe porch. After an earful from here, I looked ata the USPS order site and realized my mistake. When you order 25 boxes, you are acctually ordering 25 bundles of 25 boxes each. So now I have 625 priority boxes. I told the wifey to drop a bunch of them off at the local post office. They won't even fit in the back of her Jeep, she will have to make several trips. Does any one know if I can have the post man take them?

I'm kind of interested to see how big that pile is.

Uh, been there, done that, but I ordered 25 of three different sizes! They didn't deliver them, but rather the PO left a message asking me to come pick up my stuff. They had a good laugh, then took most of them back, but I'm still set for a while!

Here's what I kept.

It's actually not funny that they just "give" these out for "free."

Maybe they should clean that process up and save us tax payers some money.

Think of how many are wasted across the US.

I was just saying that, not only should that have been a major RED FLAG as to a mistake. But they must have loaded the entire back of a mailtruck and used an entire trip in order to get them to me. I'm only anout 5 minutes from the post office, but they did not have any to give out. I guess they will now.

I said the same thing to my PO, but they actually made me take them as they had no room for them. Then the next day they said I could bring some back, but not as many as I'd like to have gotten rid of.

Agreed, the process is F'd up, I can only imagine how many people make that mistake...once!

I just recently ordered some video tape boxes for sending out cigars and larger ones for shipping stuff back to the states when I need to. I think I ordered correctly and got one pack of 25 I saw a warning or something stating how they come.
