I guess that eliminates a 626 .357 mag and my favorite Colt 1911 .45 how about a Walther PPK?will be going for my permit once i move to florida. any reccos on a handgun. not too big. easy to conceal when wearing shorts and a t-shirt.
Isn't that James Bond's gun?I guess that eliminates a 626 .357 mag and my favorite Colt 1911 .45 how about a Walther PPK?
Yes, but Bond shot a wimpy .25 ACP version, which is pretty worthless. I am sure Ken is thinking of a .380, which is pretty decent. A Sig 230 is another good choice in .380. If you want to step up to a 9mm, take a look at the Sig 228.Isn't that James Bond's gun?

Thats a tough one. I live in Arkansas and like Florida it can get very hot and steamy here at times. I wear shorts all summer. And t's when not at work mostly. I have not found a really good setup yet for me. I mainly leave gun in my car or truck. Some people have luck with the little kel-tec .32 auto. I held one before and was just too small for my hands. Plus here in AR. you only have a right to shoot to kill, not to wound someone on purpose. Otherwise you have no cause for deadly force..22's are a no, no .32 is kind of questionable. I do carry a 1960 made E. German makarov a lot . I reworked and updated the trigger, hammer, and safety mech. and is now a real smooth shooter . Packs a good punch from just regular russian made 95gr. fmj in 9mm.mak. I have dispatched a deer with it that was injured on the side of the road and then butchered the deer. Shot between the eyes, bullet skirted the brain and about 6inches down the spinal cord.will be going for my permit once i move to florida. any reccos on a handgun. not too big. easy to conceal when wearing shorts and a t-shirt.

Or you could by the Taurus version for a third of the price. And Taurus has an unconditional lifetime warranty...That's lifetime of the gun, no matter if you're the first or fifth owner..nice! always fancied the hammerless revolver for concealed. nothing to get caught up on!! something like this in the .357....
