How Many Songs?

On your laptop. I just got my first laptop a month or so back and have 66 songs on it. How many before I start slowing the thing down with all the clutter?

Gotta admit, it was pretty quick and easy to dump my ipod onto the laptop.

NOpe. No need to worry. I have an 80 gig hard drive on my laptop and only a 30 gig ipod. I am getting closer to filling up my ipod... lol... Save away bro. Just remember to defrag your computer from time to time to keep it running fast and do not have lots of crap running on your start up.

Lol Wade. I've got at least 8 Gigs of music/video on my laptop. Mostly whole seasons of TV shows...Scrubs, House, South Park and my computer is running fine.

OMG, well, I have a 240gig hard drive so I guess I need not worry! Cool, I just dumped my Arturo Sandoval disc on that came with the Journey to Chateau de la Fuente Opus box that Linda got me for Christmas!! Great disc!

Dude I have several full length movies, and probagly 50 half hours tv shows like Dora and Wiggles and well over 3000 songs. And I am still just fine.

Dora is acctually how I learned spainsh. Now I can find my way to Abuela's house around the big rock ond over the rushing river.:rofl:

Ok probanbly not the best Idea to acctually learn, but my daughter is now using spainsh words as repalcements for english words in some cases. She probably has 25-30 spanish vocab words by now. Living in SOCAL we all learned it in Highschool, and I use it daily. Thread jack over.

WOW, I'm amazed at how much music you guys have on your PC's! I just downloaded my first song ever last night as I couldn't find it in stores anywhere, guess I'm a little behind the times, which is odd being that I've been a DJ for the last 15 years. :rofl:

I have 3529 songs, 47 Videos (mostly Robot Chicken) and 22 photos on my 80 GB iPod. I don't have all of my music on my player. I'll check when I get home, but I'm over 5k, I know.

Dude, you're fine. I've got about 4000 songs (35 gigs) plus movies and pictures.

It'll run just fine. (I studied with Arturo when I was in Miami for my Master's btw)
