Haven't used a hotel glass since I saw this. I always grab a couple of the foam coffee cups on the way to my room or drink bottled water.

I would think this is standard in almost every hotel....do you ever see a stack of clean glasses on the carts the maids use?????? Not to mention the people cleaning the rooms are from countries where proper sanitation methods are not used.

Yes, but for the most part, I just do not think about that stuff. But now I do so I will have to alter how I do things.

You know what though? I am sure there are so many nasty disgusting things going on in the room as far as "cleaning" is involved ignorance may very well be bliss.

Ignorance will have to be bliss for me at least for a little while. As of the Jan 16 youtube has been blocked in Turkey. Apparently someone had a video poking fun at the turkishness of Turks or someone was bad mouthing Atatürk the founder of "modern" Turkey.

These guys want to get into the EU but they're essentially blocking free speech by doing this.

I must stay in cheaper hotels than you guys do...I've never stayed at a place that had real "glass" glasses. Shoot, I consider myself lucky if I get a plastic cup! LOL
