Weathermen are predicting another 3-9 inches of rain over the next 72 hrs, along with continued cold weather. We already have snow levels down to 1000 ft - which we haven't seen in 25 years.

This global warming stuff sure is confusing... :wtf:

Global warming followed by an ice age...hopefully after we are gone, but who knows.

It has rained here, but nothing too crazy, The groud is wet and no one knows how to drive in it, but the rain is not to bad. I now have to wear a jacket to smoke outside at night.

Yeah if they don't close the Grapevine, it will take some souls for sure. I love driving over it, but it sucks in the fog, rain and snow. Dangerous section of road for sure.

I'm leaving for the mountains tomorrow mornig early and am expecting to use chains to get to the cabin. I hate driving in that crap. I have jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, but it's the city version, with no 4x4. sucks bad if it get foggy.

Rained all the way up tonight Jeff but clear when we got here. Everything is pretty wet but I am sitting here watching the awesome surf and smoking a beautiful DC. Love wireless. See you soon bro.

Good God almighty. Typed too soon. About 12 midnight the wind kicked up to about 70 mph driving in rain. Jeff's room flooded out and he had to move. We got up this AM and the hotel had sustained major damage. 20 room had ceiling caved in, water every where, stuff blew off the roof all over. Our room stayed dry but my daughter woke up to the baby yelling soaked. What a trip. The rain cleared and I went out on the deck to smoke a La Punta. After 10 minutes the rain drove back in and I had to go in. I went to one of the wrecked rooms and finished. All in all one of the craziest weekends I can remember. Jeff and his girl friend were real troopers and had a great time as did my whole family. The weather is clearing now that we are home. Great weather here in CA.
