I don't think Belicheck showed much class when he ran onto the field and then into the locker room with time left on the clock. The ref tried stopping him and sending him back to his sideline, but it looked like Bill didn't want any part of it and just wanted to get out of there. His players had to sit there and stomach the loss for one more play, why shouldn't he?

Agreed, he should've stayed out on the field with his team. I did find it interesting how time had run out on the clock and then one second was put back on. This may have had something to do with it, not defending Belicheck, but it's possible that he was talking to Tom and never really heard what the ref said. Just a thought.

And on a side note, what if the Patriots left the field and refused to come back out for the last play with .01 left? Which was just stupid anyway, the games over, 200 people on the field and you make them take a snap just to kneel.

I'm glad the Giants won, brothers, back to back, playing the same position, both getting MVP (Although Eli's was pretty much by default and locked in on his last drive.)

Just seems to me like people are being overly hard on this, and making a big issue out of a drunken super bowl party statement of joy. If ever a situation to cut some slack on what came out of someones mouth, this would be it.

I have tyo agree that the original; post was lame. However it was a product of alcohol consumption and an apology was made briefly. I would not expect anyone to apologize twice for anything, much less a post that was not really directed at any one person. He was having the time of his life last night, and sometimes that turns ugly. I say we let it go. Good win by the Giants.

I bet the Pats aren't the only team to video other teams, just the one that got caught.

That is on my short list of next Scotch purchases. Good stuff? It is sherry finished, right? How does the taste compare to other sherry finished Scotches like Macallan or Sherry Wood finished Glenmorangie? I found the Glenmorangie to be almost too sweet but I think the higher ABV of the A'bunadh will balance the sherry sweetness out.
