that Dan guy's last name was Faraday. Michael Faraday was a physicist in electromagnetism. A Faraday cage is a device that can block a radio frequency...
Ahhhh! I did not know that, very interesting! It will be interesting to see if there is a connection to that, or just a tribute to him in the show.

Interesting about the Polar Bear. Makes me think that there's a time travel aspect. But then one of the "rescuers" is a medium.... and each of the members has been chosen for a specific purpose. A physicist, a medium, a pilot and a "headcase?".... what's up with that?

Still no real answers but a lot of things going on. The Polar Bear and helicopter are quite interesting.

Ah, i love this place. Fellow LOST enthusiasts.

So in teh casket i think is Michael, Walt's dad. The majority of the people on the street were of the same color, as well as the undertaker.

Did anyone even notice the fact that the treasure seeking freighter found the entire plane form Oceanic 815. The plane was whole and intact, complete with wrong pilot. Now we know for a fact that the 4 man "rescue team got there after the treasure seekrs found the plane because the helicopter pilot saw the tv coverage and then ended up on the island.

So, the rescuers know that the island is some sort of anomoly because they have talked to survivors and so on and so forth. I'm guessing the island has been some sort of like Bermuda triangle type place that has only been fabled and thought of as a myth...until now.

And the fact that the Oceanic 6 made it back to reality only furthers the fact that it is some sort of different dimension that can be traveld to and from, hence the odd combination of "rescuers"...for researching purposes. Kind of like that bruce Willis ateroid movie witht the totally-hot Liv Tyler where they have specialist from different fields to "explore".

I'm guessing Ben knows what really happens when you try to leave and that's why he keeps everyone there.

Last week's episode was GREAT, this week's was good but both gave us some interesting information.

So it's not Penny's boat, it's her Dad's boat. Linus told Locke that he wants to exploit the island. That may be true, but we know Linus will say and do anything. And this battle between Linus and Whitmore continues after the Oceanic six get back to the real world. I think that Harper was not real. I think the island and Joshua in the shack can make people see visions of others from your past and use it against you. What about the part where Juliet is talking about the kids that got taken from the plane. What happened to them? If the world only knows about the Oceanic Six, where did those kids wind up?

And I don't know about you, but I think Juliet is HOT!

There was some major confusion in that episode.

When you saw the scenes of Jin, they were flashbacks...before the crash of the flight. When you saw the scenes of Sun, they were flash forwards of her having the baby. Apparently, Jin does not make it off the island if you 'believe' the flash forwards so the headstone is either his body that was brought back or a memorial to him (empty grave) from Sun.

I agree dave, i think Jin's headstone was a memorial.

Did anybody pick up on the short blurb from the ships captain about the whole finding the wrekcage in real life being totally staged, and who has that kind of money, power and resources??? Interesting.

They sure are taking their time answering all the questions...

Ben has major resources to draw from apparently. When they broke into his house, they found lots of cash and a whole slew of passports. And he's apparently left the island on at least a couple of occasions.
