All right gents, I'm looking at 2 identical Nissan Altimas and the deciding factor is color. The cars are both 2006 Altima 2.5s My question is red or white? My wife said I'm made for the red car, but I'm hesitant since I always felt that red was "a girls color for a car" Although it is growing on me! Not to mention it's less $$ and has fewer miles.

Check the links for yourself:

Red

White

Also any feedback on the car itself from anyone who has any experience with Nissas please fill me in!

My uncle runs that dealership and I sent him 3 emails today about cars that I was looking at! I just sent him my fourth and final email saying that the red altima is the car that I'm trying to get. You see so many white Altimas on the road, but you don't see alot of red Altimas out there.

I HATE...not just dislike, but HATE, white. Just me. Be aware that Red is kind of like black in its difficulty to keep looking new. Like Black, Red shows swirl marks and all the little scratches and what not extremely well.

On the other side, when kept cleaned, polished and waxed correctly they can be stunning.

Who cares what color? Less miles AND less money from the same dealership, unless the red one has a flaw or problem it's a no brainer for me. I'd offer em $12,500 and get to haggling.

That's what I'd be doing Ken. It wouldn't matter to me, it's not like it's going to make you money. Point A to Point B.

Not to get into color theory here but it depends on what color red.

I think the red enhances the body lines and makes the car look more 3D. The whiet makes the car look flat.

Red gets attention far quicker than white, make sure you don't have a lead foot.

But it's also a far better color on most cars than white. We have two white cars and I would have preferred just about anything different but circumstances sometimes dictate what you take vs. what you want.

I agree with Ken. $1,500 cheaper than the white one with 1/3 less miles. (the red just happens to looks better anyway so it works out well).

Ken is around dealers ALL the time, so start at $12,500 :)
