Yeah, saw that in CA this month. Can't decide if it's worth the money for only 12-10oz glasses.

my point was that if i want that draft beer flavor, i'm gonna get an entire 1/2 barrel, not those overpriced little grocery store "mini" kegs.

$200 for the mini-tap
$20 for the mini keg (which is the same as a 12 pack)

1/2 barrel of heiny - approx $150 (which i like 196 beers or something
all the fun you'll have drinking all that beer with your friends - PRICELESS.

For me, its a mathematical no-brainer.

But then again, i like to throw parties with kegs.

Yea i have seen this for a few months in the SKY Mall catalog on my flights. The first one came out to go with the Heineken mini keg, but now I have seen Killians has come out with one as well. Also Molson has one out that I have gotten before. I think more companys will come out with them now.

I agree, however in my house I would go with the mini. I don't have room for a big unit in my house. I almost don't have room for the mini keg on the counters.

I've never bought a keg but I'm guessing its pretty difficult to cool it without an industrial refrigerator this is compact, cools your beer and looks good.. I'd buy one if only it was legal here..

I bought one of these. It works fine. I'm not a big beer drinker anymore, but I like the idea of having beer on tap. I would love to be able to get a variety of beers at some point in the future.

(When I was in college, I had a full size keg refrigerater / dispenser going all the time. Those days are over, so this works just fine)
