In his earlier years Cheeta had a penchant for beer and cigars, reportedly drinking several cold ones a day. Westfall and Karajerjian said booze and smoke have not been a part of the old chimp's life since he came into their care ten years ago.

AARP has been so busy trying to gain my membership, they don`t have time for a poor, booze/tobacco deprived old chimp.

I'm not sure any group has more time to spare than AARP. Legions of retired people can definitely get stuff done.

But I hear you about their recruitment tactics of sending thousands of tons of paper to each person each year. Shoot, I'm only 23 and I imagine they'll start their recruitment drive for me soon enough. That's how they roll.
