I have an end table sized Aristocrat humidor with 2 lbs of 65% beads. I've also added 3 containers of Damp Rid, but my humidity still hovers around 72-75%.
Shouldn't the beads draw the humidity out of the humidor, and when they do so shouldn't they appear to be full of water (clear) rather than dry and white?
The only time the beads turn clear is in the winter when I add some water. Here in Florida there is so much humidity that it's a constant battle.
I'm confused about the beads. I would think that with the excess humidity they would absorb moisture and turn clear as they filled.
