Man, it's a slow day here at the office. Feels like the phone hasn't rang in a month of Sundays. Havne' gotten an email in the same amount of time. Not a damn thing that i really NEED to do, sure there's stuff i could do, but nothing pressing.

I've already scoured the NHC site looking at all the things i'd like to buy. I don't dare check out cbad, for abvious reasons. I've purrused ebad and put a bid on some music memorabilia.

I've now resorted to looking over my list of cigars which i meticulously maintain here at work. I've come up with at least 30 different things i might like to smoke tonight. I've gotta narrow it down to 2, and that doesn't even really matter, because no matter what i choose now, it'll come time to go to the humi to pull one out., I'll completely abandon my thoughts and considerations about what to smoke and i'll end up getting something based on what looks good.

Maybe i'll let you alls decide. Here's some choices

Casa Royal belicoso
cabaiguan belicoso
cabaiguan rx
cab guapo original
cab guapo rx
tat red corona gorda
New havana house cigar #1
new havana house cigar #2
montesino aged cabinet slection torpedo
tat verocu east or west
la riqueza #1
ashton vsg belicoso
illusione lancero
Illusione m7
rp 10th anni torpedo
tat cojonu 2006
tat reserva j21

Pick 2 please.

LOL... way to go Gale!

I'd probably go with the Tat Verocu West or the Cab Guapo rx. Good luck with the rest of the day!

Thanks Gale, mighty neighborly of you! I am out of town next week but the in-laws will be there visiting and bring it in. I just have to keep my father in-law out of the box!

What's his name? I'll send him a box at your address. WOn't that flip him out...getting a box with cigars in it with his name at your address.

Feel free to take credit for arranging it too. Those would be some great brownie points. Tell him you wanted to thank him for picking up the mail so you "arranged" for him to get some smokes. What's he like?

I'm bored
I hear ya, I'm bored too. Been off work for a few days.. think I'm gonna head out soon to purchase a couple of smokes for my weekend lake trip tomorrow. I know I'm a rookie when I have not smoked one that is on your list!! LOL!! The Ashton VSG Belicoso... that grabs my attention. When I was out yesterday one of the guys I had a good conversation with at a local shop, put one of these back form me in his humidor for the next time we have a smoke together. Havn't really smoked anything that strong yet, what's your comments on this little baby???

Well, believe it or not, i've only had a small handful of the VSGs to date. My first was the highly rated torpedo. it was just too much for me. I've had a couple of the tres mystiques. They werent' bad, but i don't remember being WOWed by them. Unfortunately i can't recall exactly how they tasted. I'm not one for describing hints of vanillas and smatterings of coffee, but becasue of the the fact that i don't remember saying WOW, This is a damn good cigar" tells me something. But, with all the rave reviews and the way they sell like hotcakes around here, i wanted to save this belicoso i got several months ago and give em another try.

I've sold a boat load of them on here at some pretty good prices due to the fact that there's this little store i go to occasionally that consistently marks them at the way wrong price. I buy em and pass em on to the guys here.

I'll probably save this one for a road trip next week. I get my best smoking experiences while driving because i can veg out and totally focus on the cigar. It gives me a sold chance to truly evaluate a cigar.

Hey Gale,
That is way too cool. My father in-law's name is Warren but he only smokes about once a month so go light if you do. Thanks again!

Your cigar list is impressive and way beyond what I have, but I would recommend the Tats :). Smoke 'em if you got 'em! Great cigars.

Edit: Looking at your list, I realize what a newb I really am :).
