I just saw it this weekend and was really glad I decided to see it on the IMAX Screen. Excellent movie all around, Heath Ledgers performance as the Joker was outstanding. I was also impressed that the director Christopher Nolan insisted this movie be made with no CGI- (Computer generated imagery). The effects were awesome. I also read in USA Today that it is poised to take over as the #2 movie of all time surpassing Star Wars and behind Titanic. I also thought Aaron Eckhart did a fantastic job as DA Harvey Dent aka Harvey "Two Face". If you go to see it.. it is definitely worth paying extra to see on the IMAX screen.

I hear it does kick more ass on the IMAX. I saw it on the regular screen and really liked it. Great movie.

I liked the jokers magic trick. lol

I agree with Okie...It was worth the xtra dough for the IMAX version. I thought that Ledger's portrayal of the Joker made Nicholson's look like "Dora, the Explorer."

We saw it a few days after it came out, it was awesome!

The only thing that got to me, was Batman's voice. I understand he always has a deeper, raspier voice when he's Batman, but seriously was THAT deep of a voice necessary?

I noticed that too... it was alot deeper than the last movie, but this movie was definitely darker and more intense.

That was the only part that killed me in the first movie, the voice was a little to overdone.

Batmans voice was getting annoying towards the end.

Movie was really good but I still think Batman Begins was better

I'd say it was the best Batman movie ever. New series or old. As for the voice thing, I read somewhere that Director Nolan wanted it that way. It was digitally made even deeper and raspier than Bale could do on his own apparently....

The movie was great. We saw it at the Arclight, which has great seats, sound, etc. Heath made the movie, but overall it was great. Not academy award winning by the actors though. IMHO>

Dam, I'm the outcast on this one, I hated what they did to the batman character in this one. To me he was always the die hard, didn't care what anybody thought, twisted head, people like you killed my parents vigalante. Who was the castrated caped man all woried about what the people thought. I liked the movie as a whole, and if I could pretend the lead was some other guy and not the my boyhood comic book BAss I might have really like it. But man, I miss the guy that was meaner than the worst bad guys, killed not wounded without regret and played by no rules.

It was good... almost great...

Really dark and twisted which in my opinion added more depth to Batman and the joker...

Heath did amazing.. took the joker from "riddle me this riddle me that, who is afraid of the big black bat..." to a really dark "why so serious"
