Fan Timers and fans

ok, heres what we are working on.

we will be introducing the ultimate fan timer for cigar collectors. this timer will be ideal for large cabinets, igloos, and any other large cigar storage device.

there will be 2 models.

the basic model will control 1 or 2 fans.
it will operate the fans anywhere from 1 to 60 minutes per hour
there will be a bright, LED display
the display will show you how many minutes per hour that your fan is operating. 0 will be off, 1 will be 1 minute per hour, and so on all the way up to 60 which will mean that your fans are running continuously.
there will be 2 pushuttons. 1 too raise the minutes per hour, the other pushbutton too lower the minutes per hour.

now for the deluxe model.

the deluxe model will have all the features of the basic, but...
it will operate up to 4 fans.
the 4 fans will each be able to be adjusted INDEPENDENTLY of the other fans.
so, you could have 4 fans each set at different minutes per hour if the need ever arised in your cigar cabinet.

well, that it. its all in the works. now i have to wait and keep my fingers crossed. we never know when there could be a glitch, but thats what we are working on.

Some decent battery powered fans that actually move some air.

5 minutes on 30 minutes off...just enough to move the air around every now and then.


Funny, i never even thougth about a fan in my cooler. Gonnna go over to the storage secion and research

Not terribly picky about it really, so long as it keeps the air moving.

we are basing our new timer on minutes per hour. i had to make this timer adjustable because everyone has a different opinion.
if i made a fixed timer say at 10 minutes per hour, and the 10 minutes did not do the job for your cabinet, then you might need to bump it to 15 minutes per hour. without the adjustment, it could be a waste of $ to just get a fixed interval timer.
i have thought about making a fixed timer, but there is a downside.

yes, you could get 1 timer, and have 2 fans in 1 igloo, and 2 in another. you could actually have 4 igloos with 1 fan in each controlled by just one timer

you could have 4 fans in a large cabinet. have 3 of them run for 5 minutes an hour, then just have 1 run for a longer period of time. there will be a lot that you can do with the deluxe timer
